Frequently asked questions
CAN I TRIM SADELE FLOWERS TO MY PREFERRED LENGTH
If you wish to trim your Sadele stems to better suit your vase height, we recommend using strong wire cutters (available from most hardware stores). Be sure to measure them again your vase before cutting to ensure you are trimming to the required length.
Once trimmed, seal the cut end with a small amount of clear hot glue or clear super glue to protect the internal wire. Allow the glue to dry completely before placing the stems into your vase - particularly if using water. This simple step helps prevent moisture from entering the stem and reduces the risk of rust forming over time.
HOW DO I MAINTAIN MY SADELE FLOWERS?
Please handle your Sadele flowers with care. Each stem is delicately made by hand to achieve its natural form, and rough handling or excessive bending may cause damage. Any damage resulting from misuse is the responsibility of the owner and is not eligible for return.
Your arrangement can be styled in a vase without water — we recommend removing the stems every three weeks and gently dusting them with a dry microfibre cloth.
If you prefer to display them in water (particularly in clear glass vases to enhance their natural look), change the water every three weeks and ensure the stems are fully dried before placing them back in the vase. If you have trimmed the stems to suit your vase height, seal the cut end with a small amount of clear hot glue or super glue and allow it to dry completely before returning it to water. Failing to seal the stem when using water may result in rust forming inside the vase.
Direct and prolonged sun exposure may result in colour variation or fading.
CAN I PUT MY SADELE FLOWERS IN WATER?
Sadele flowers do not need to be displayed in water. If you choose to display your Sadele flowers in water, this is entirely at your own discretion and risk (the only variety that cannot be placed in water are our Parrot Tulips).
While our stems can sit in water to enhance their natural appearance - particularly in clear glass vases - we recommend changing the water every three weeks and ensuring the stems are completely dry before returning them to the vase. This helps reduce the risk of mould or moisture build-up from prolonged exposure.
